Art By John Martin
In honor of an amazing milestone, Alltimers has teamed up once again with Oakland based @CreativeGrowth, to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
The project includes T-shirts and boards with artwork by William Scott, Dwight Mackintosh, Aurie Ramirez, John Martin, Ron Veasey, and Joe Spears.
The partnership aims to celebrate and raise awareness of Creative Growth’s mission to promote inclusivity and representation in the arts.
Creative Growth is the oldest art center and exhibition space for artists with developmental disabilities in the United States. Founded in 1974, the Oakland-based nonprofit advances the inclusion of artists with developmental disabilities in contemporary art by providing a professional studio environment and gallery representation to more than 140 artists.
A classic skate shape with a shell construction that works from park laps to pump track.
Dialed fit equals distraction-free riding. The auto-adjust fit system of the kids' Anon Rime 3 Helmet lets your young rider adjust on the fly for hassle-free comfort. Multi-season certification means come summer they can remove the earpads and wear the helmet to the skatepark or pump track.
This product is an updated model of the GEL-FLEXKEE PRO, which was developed by analyzing the movements of skaters at the ASICS Institute of Sport Science while incorporating the opinions of professional skaters. This model is characterized by its high level of functionality that allows skaters to demonstrate their performance at a high level.
The product inherits the groove structure of the lateral side, which is designed to allow fine movements of the forefoot while skating. The GEL-FLEXKEE PRO 2.0 also provides better flexibility than the previous model, which improves the grip of the board and protects the toes from board hits.
The eyelets have a structure that allows two types of lacing, inner and outer, to prevent shoelaces from snapping while skating.
The shoe tongue is also designed to be durable, with the top tongue section folded back to prevent the shoelace from snapping. The ankle section has a new PU (polyurethane) print for improved durability when hitting the board. Furthermore, stitching has been added to the rearfoot to improve durability which accommodates the movement of the heelflip. GEL™ Technology has been placed from the center of the rearfoot towards the inner part to absorb the shock of landing, while making it easier to maintain balance on the board.
This product is a slip-on type of the "GEL-FLEXKEE" series developed by analyzing the movements of athletes in skateboarding competitions at theASICSSports Engineering Laboratory while incorporating the opinions of Takasaki Nakamura, our advisory staff. It is characterized by high functionality so that the players can demonstrate their performance. While riding, fine movement of the front of the foot is required, so a continuous groove from the bottom to the side of the outsole is provided on the outside of the front of the shoe to increase the flexibility to follow the movement of the foot. The upper has a rubber guard at the toe to improve wear resistance. In addition, by dividing it by the parts of the upper part, it becomes a three-dimensional shape and improves the fitting. The sole is designed with an impact cushioning material "GEL" placed from the center of the heel to the inside to ease the load on landing while making it easy to maintain balance on the board.
Inspired by the VICKKA training type shoe released in the 1980s, the original sole was designed to increase stability against complex movements during training and updated to skateboard specifications. The forefoot of the upper uses a one-piece construction to reduce the risk of peeling. Based on the analysis of the movement of skateboarding competitions, the insole is designed with different hardness on the inside and outside, and the punching hole is provided to promote the inner center of gravity, thereby increasing the sense of stability on the board. The heel area incorporates GEL technology for excellent cushioning comfort. The classic design makes it easy to match not only the skateboarding scene but also various styles of everyday life.
